2 years in SMU and I have yet to step into Timbre @ The Substation…how ironic is that!

I finally got my chance to pay this popular chill-out spot a visit when the bowling team decided to hold our gathering there.

I like the idea of chilling out in the middle of trees and greenery. Gets my mind away from the bustling city life. Great ambience for the relaxing outing we were looking for!

Timbre has always been known for supporting local bands and we had the privilege of enjoying The Goodfellas perform on Tuesday! It was pretty amusing how they got the bowlers high with “Nobody” by Wondergirls.

Generally a nice place to hold gatherings and to chill with friends. Be sure to book in advance though, as the place is usually packed during the weekends. Since the whole place adopts an open-air concept, checking the weather forecast might also be a wise thing to do so as to ensure that your celebration does not get ruined by the rain!
