And yes, usually birthday celebrations come side by side with Birthday gifts, but Chee Jeng and I figured out it would be more practical to get Huiying gift vouchers for her Birthday, so we got her Capitaland Vouchers for her to spend at any Capitaland Mall, which comes in a pretty gift voucher holder since we got it at Ion Orchard!

And as a tradition amongst the 3 of us, Chee Jeng’s mother will prepare hong zao ji mian xian 红槽鸡面线 (red glutinous wine ginger chicken vermicelli) for our birthdays…

I think it’s really sweet of her! Other than the fact that it requires much effort, traditionally for the chinese, this signifies longevity in birthday celebrations(Correct me if I am wrong)!
